MVEA Officers and Building Representatives

These are the Executive Board members and the Building Representatives of the Mount Vernon Education Association. If you need to contact your building rep or your union officers, please do so, but keep the following in mind: 

• Please, do contact them! They hold their positions to be of service to you, the MVEA member. Most of the contact links below are district email.
• If you contact via school email, please keep in mind that you should not be conducting union business during contract hours. Before and after contract hours is fine, as well as during your duty-free lunch.
• Also, keep in mind that your district email account is district email. You have no expectation of privacy while using district email.  The MVSD has the ability and the right to look at your district emails. And, your district email is paid for with public dollars, which means that any member of the public can request copies of your email. Questions about the contract (policies, dates, clock hours, class size, etc.) are fine over district email. Questions about sensitive issues (like a grievance, or other issues that you want to make sure are confidential) should be addressed with your building rep in person, or via home email addresses.
• Any political communications (including levy communications) should be off the clock, on personal email and never in school mail boxes.
